How does the filter system work?

When viewing the site on a larger screen, the filters are visible on the home page (recent stories list).

When viewing the site on a smaller screen, the filters are visible when going to the search page (tap the search icon in the menu bar).

By default everything is shown.

You can filter by:

• Status - Deselect any status you want to exclude from the results.
• Rating - Deselect any ratings you want to exclude.
• Year - Type or use the arrows to put in a year range
• Fandom - Select one or multiple fandoms to narrow the search results.
• Author - Select one or more authors to narrow the search results.
• Include tags - Select tags to include in the search. This will not exclude any tags.
• Exclude tags - Select tags you wish to exclude. This will exclude any stories with those tags from the search, even if the stories also contain tags that are in your "include" list.

You can clear filters to reset back to seeing everything.

Filters are not visible on the fandoms, authors or tags pages. These are just list pages.
